Boongle 1.8 Flash shipped on 10 September 2026 as the default first-party model for Boongle IDE. It replaces Auto as the quality bar for daily agent work — and early users are already running it for real projects.

1.8 Flash is not a wrapper around a third-party API. It is tuned end-to-end for Boongle's agent harness: file tools, terminal, inline edits, parallel agents, and long-running tasks inside the editor you already use.
