Is Boongle IDE free?
Yes. There is a free tier with limited AI usage and Tab completions. Paid plans (Pro, Pro+, and Ultra) add higher usage limits, unlimited completions, and extra features. See pricing for details.
What operating systems are supported?
Boongle IDE runs on Windows 10/11 and macOS (Apple Silicon). Linux support is coming soon. Download the latest release for your platform.
Do I need a beta invite to get started?
You can download Boongle IDE directly from our downloads page. Beta access gives early testers priority support and helps us gather feedback as we ship new features. Apply for beta if you want early access.
Where is my code stored?
Your project files stay on your computer. Boongle IDE opens local folders on your machine — we do not upload your codebase to our servers.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Free includes the full editor with limited AI usage and Tab completions. Pro unlocks generous usage limits, unlimited Tab completions, and access to frontier models. Pro+ and Ultra add even more usage and collaboration features. Compare plans.
How does AI usage and billing work?
AI features consume usage credits based on your plan. Usage resets each billing period. You can view your usage inside the app and upgrade anytime from the pricing page.
Can I use custom models or bring my own API keys?
Do I need an account to use Boongle IDE?
You can explore the editor locally, but signing in unlocks AI features, usage tracking, and plan upgrades. Create an account inside the app when you are ready to use agents and completions.
